Here are the questions we get asked most, with straight answers. If your issue isn’t covered, open a support ticket and we’ll take care of it.
1. How do I get started?
Answer:
Sign up for a free account with just an email and a password. We’ll send you a confirmation email; click the link and you’re in. No credit card, no trial clock. Then head to the free tools and pick one.
2. What’s the difference between Free, Standard, and Premium?
Answer:
The plans differ by which tools you can open. Free gives you a starter set. Standard unlocks the full everyday library. Premium adds our most powerful tools for research, writing, and decisions that matter. Every plan gets the same generous daily allowance, so you’re paying for access to more tools, not for more usage. See current pricing on the membership page.
3. Is there a limit to how much I can use the tools?
Answer:
Every member, free or paid, gets a generous daily allowance that resets each day. It’s set high enough that normal use never bumps into it. If you do hit it, the tool will let you know and you can pick up again the next day. The exact number is in our Terms of Service.
4. I paid for a membership but I can’t open the paid tools. What should I do?
Answer:
First, make sure you’re logged in with the same email you used at checkout. Then log out and back in; that refreshes your access. If it’s still not working, open a ticket with the email you paid with and we’ll fix it quickly.
5. How do I cancel, and do I get a refund?
Answer:
Cancel anytime from your account page. Cancelling stops future charges, and you keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. If you’re not happy with your first paid month, ask for a refund within 7 days of that first payment and we’ll refund it in full. Renewals aren’t refundable.
6. How do I actually use a tool?
Answer:
Open the tool’s page and scroll down to it. Each tool starts by telling you what it needs: sometimes it’s a button to click, sometimes a simple question to answer, sometimes a couple of dropdowns. Fill that in, press the button (it might say “Send,” “Check this,” “Translate,” or similar), and the tool takes it from there. Most tools walk you through step by step, and you can start fresh anytime with the “Start Over” button below the chat.
7. Does it work on my phone or tablet?
Answer:
Yes. BrainPit works in any modern browser on phone, tablet, or computer. There’s no app to install.
8. If I refresh the page or come back later, is my conversation still there?
Answer:
Usually, yes. Your conversation is saved in your browser, so it’s still there after a refresh or if you navigate away and come back, unless you clicked “Start Over” or cleared your browser’s history and site data. If a result matters to you, copy it somewhere safe. Hover over any response and a small copy icon appears; some tools also have a “Copy” button under the last answer. Paste it into an email, a note, or a document.
9. Will a tool remember what I told it last time?
Answer:
Each visit starts fresh, and a tool doesn’t carry information from one tool to another. Your current conversation is saved in your browser (see above).
10. Is my information private?
Answer:
We don’t sell or share your personal information, and we don’t use your conversations for anything other than running the tool and keeping the service working. What you type is sent to our AI providers to generate the answer, so don’t enter passwords, account numbers, Social Security numbers, or anything you wouldn’t want a third party to see. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.
11. Can I trust what the tools tell me?
Answer:
Our tools are set up to give you far better answers than a blank AI chat window, but AI can still be wrong, and it can sound confident while being wrong. Treat what you get as a strong first draft or a second opinion, not the final word, especially on money, health, legal, or safety matters. That’s true of every AI product, not just ours.
12. What AI does BrainPit use?
Answer:
We use top-tier models from the leading AI companies, and we match each tool to whichever model does that job best. You don’t have to choose or understand any of it; that’s the point.
13. A tool didn’t respond or something looks broken. What do I do?
Answer:
Wait a minute, refresh the page, and try again. If it keeps happening, open a ticket with the name of the tool, what you typed, and a screenshot if you can grab one. We’ll look into it right away.
14. Can you build a tool for my specific need?
Answer:
Possibly. If there’s a job you’d like a tool to do, whether for yourself, your family, or your business, tell us about it. Good ideas often turn into new tools for everyone, and custom builds may be available for a fee.
15. How often do you add new tools?
Answer:
Regularly. New tools are added as we build them, and existing ones are improved based on how people actually use them. Log in now and then to see what’s new, or watch for our emails.
16. I’m new to AI. Which tools should I try first?
Answer:
Good starting points:
- Say What? Translator – Turns modern slang into plain English
- Wine Genie – Wine picks based on what you actually like
- Animal Battle Simulator – Just for fun, and surprisingly addictive
- Top Song Curator – Build a playlist around your mood or memories
- Find Your Perfect Dog Match – A few quick questions, then the breeds that fit your life
No experience needed. Pick one and go.
